How to Log Into Your SBCGlobal Email Account

Introduction to SBCGlobal Email

SBCGlobal.net, initially started by Southwestern Bell Corporation, has merged with AT&T. As a result, SBCGlobal.net services are now part of AT&T’s email system. Former SBCGlobal users now access their emails through AT&T’s platforms.

Setting Up a New SBCGlobal (AT&T) Email Account

  1. Visit https://currently.att.yahoo.com/
  2. Click on the “Mail” tab and select “Create my AT&T account”
  3. Enter your user ID and ZIP code, then click “Continue”
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup

Note: You can choose @att.net or @currently.com as your email suffix. For @yahoo.com, use https://login.yahoo.com/account/create

Logging into Your SBCGlobal Email Account

  1. Go to https://signin.att.com/
  2. Enter your email address and password
  3. Click “Sign In”

Tip: Check “Remember username and password” for convenience on personal devices

Compatible domains include: @sbcglobal.net, @att.net, @snet.net, @flash.net, @currently.com, @bellsouth.net, @ameritech.net, @prodigy.net, @pacbell.net, @nvbell.net, @wans.net

Troubleshooting Login Issues

  1. Verify the correct login URL (https://signin.att.com/)
  2. Check your internet connection
  3. Ensure your username and password are correct (case-sensitive)
  4. Clear browser cache and cookies
  5. Try an incognito/private browsing window

Resetting Your Password

  1. Visit https://signin.att.com/
  2. Click “Forgot password”
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Follow the instructions sent to your recovery email
  5. Create a new password (minimum 8 characters, including upper and lowercase letters and special characters)

For free account users:

  1. Click “Forgot password” on the login page
  2. Enter your username (email address) and last name
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions

Recovering Your SBCGlobal Email Account

If you’ve forgotten your email address:

  1. Go to https://signin.att.com/
  2. Click “Forgot user ID”
  3. Enter your secondary email address
  4. Click “Continue”
  5. Check your secondary email (including spam folder) for your SBCGlobal username
